Noolkol Kootu

Noolkol kootu final image

Noolkol Kootu or Kohlrabi kootu is a very simple and delicious sidedish that can be relished with rice or rotis. I am not a big fan of this vegetable, but I love it in this form. I usually prepare it as a side dish for rotis for dinner. It has lot of health benefits too.

Noolkol is full of nutrients and minerals like copper, potassium, manganese, iron, and calcium, as well as vitamins, such as vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, vitamin A, and vitamin K. Along with that, kohlrabi is also high in dietary fiber and antioxidant compounds, such as phytochemicals and various carotenes.
