Chicken Biriyani

Image
Chicken Biriyani is a term that brings smile on the face of me and my family. LOL 😀 No other food can give me the happiness and satisfaction of eating chicken biriyani. I believe you too have the same feeling. I have got lot of praises for my chicken biriyani. Once I made chicken biriyani for an International Food Festival and many foreigners also liked it, and I heard they recommended others to also try my chicken biriyani 😀 and many Indians identified it as typical South Indian style of biriyani and Many people bought it again and again and some of them also came back after it got over . I was really really happy that day. This is a easy one pot biriyani recipe, though it is easy it takes time to prepare it. Atleast an hour. But while it is being half done the aroma fills the house and kindles the hunger in everyone’s tummy. Once it is ready, the cooker takes the center position and the whole family sits around it and the cooker takes several rounds and serves us all till the tummy...

Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken is something I never thought that can be done at home. We have enjoyed it only in restaurants. But first time gave it a try at home and it came out so so gooood. It was soft and juicy but it missed the smokey smell of tandoor. I made it using my oven at home. It was delicious in taste and texture. It is such a simple recipe anybody can do it, but it needs planning. We need to plan it the day before , to marinate and refrigerate the chicken in the spice mix with yoghurt. Next day, it just needs to be baked. Chicken Pakoda

Chicken Pakoda is quite common food in the villages of tamil nadu. It can be found in road side shops , hot and spicy. I used to enjoy this chicken pakoda whenever we went to my in-laws place , a small village near vellore. I got to know the recipe from there and it tastes really so so good. Personally, I feel that the most important key to its taste is the amount of fresh ginger garlic paste that is used in it and the resting time, the more the better. Chicken pakoda is simply, chicken 65 in street food style. Its a treat for all chicken lovers. Here goes my recipe for chicken pakoda. You may also like my other chicken recipes –  Tandoori Chicken  ,  Chicken Thokku  ,  Chicken Gravy  and my all time favourite  Chicken Biriyani . I can say I am a sincere lover of Chicken Biriyani. I like egg noodles and chicken noodles served by roadside shops. I have always watched the way streetside vendors prepare fried rice and noodles. Wanted to give a try at home. Last week, when I prepared  chicken pakoda , we had some leftover. So I have used the  chicken pakoda  to make this chicken noodles.
