Fish fry
This is a simple fish fry recipe that can be served as a starter or as part of main course. With a simple marination and a good resting time, the salmon fish had absorbed all the spices from the marination and tasted delicious, spicy and absolute yummm.. Even my kids enjoyed it as there were no troublesome kuchis ( bones ) in it. 😀
The flours used in the marination ensure that the masala sticks well onto the fish, without running out in the oil. I have done shallow fry so as to use little oil, so that the left over oil can be discarded. These days, I am using shredded frozen lemon instead of just lemon juice for tanginess. There are a lot of health benefits in the peel of lemon. But unfortunately most of us extract only the juice of it and consume. The peel of citrus fruits contain a lot of Vitamin C, antioxidants and its also anti- cancer. More info here. Its easier to grate the skin of frozen lemons, so I have freezed a batch of lemons and whenever needed I grate it and use. Hope you will try it too.
Do give it a try and am sure you would love it!! Quickly, onto the recipe.
